The commonly used cold water pump refers to a pump that can deliver a liquid with a temperature of 80° C. or less and is called a cold water pump, and a pump with a temperature of 80° C. to 120° C. is called a hot water pump.

1, the characteristics of cold water pump:
The commonly used seals for cold water pumps are packing seals or mechanical seals made of NBR. The most common type of pump with packing seals is the IS single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump. This pump is also the earliest cold-pump product, since the packing itself requires liquid cooling and lubrication. Therefore, the maximum temperature of the pump is only about 80 degrees, and the phenomenon of dripping in the cold water pump filled with packing has certain pollution to the pump base and the surrounding environment of the pump. Such products have gradually been used by ISG and ISW centrifugal pump series products. Instead, ISG and ISW cold water series adopts mechanical seal. It will not leak water, and all adopt direct-connected structure impeller on the motor shaft. It is obviously superior to old IS series cold water pump in terms of noise and vibration. Pump products are often used for air conditioning water circulation so it is also called air conditioning chilled water circulation pump.

2, hot water pump features:
The hot water pump is a heat pump product optimized on the basis of the ISG and ISW centrifugal pump series, especially the IRG type hot water circulation pump is the largest, because the pump uses the vertical mounting motor on the upper part, the pump and the motor. There is also a short bracket, which will not cause the water in the motor to burn out the motor due to the leakage of the mechanical seal, and it can also be designed as a mechanical seal on the basis of the IRG hot water pump to seal the device additionally cooled by external tap water. The maximum temperature of the high temperature pump product can reach 240°C.
